OnePlus-One-Besitzer dürfen sich freuen. Seit gestern läuft der Rollout für die neue Firmware mit der Buildnummer XNPH38R auf Basis von CyanogenMod 11S 38R. Die neue Firmware bringt neben zahlreichen Fehlerkorrekturen auch Support für Fotos im RAW-Format.
Doch das ist noch nicht alles: auch eine deutlich verbesserte Touchscreen-Bedienung und 24-Bit-Audio-Support (auch für FLAC und Apple Lossless) versprechen die OnePlus-One-Macher. Zudem funktionieren dank ANT+-Protokoll nun diverse Fitness-Geräte besser mit dem OnePlus-Gerät zusammen.
Dass CyanogenMod am RAW-Support für das OnePlus One arbeitet, darüber haben wir ja bereits im Juli berichtet. Jetzt ist das Feature somit komplett und Besitzer eines OnePlus One können ihre Fotos auch verlustfrei ohne Komprimierung speicherh. Ob sich aus dem kleinen Smartphone-Chip im Nachhinein allerdings noch sehr viel rausholen lässt, müssen erste Tests zeigen. Das OnePlus One ist mit dem RAW-Format schon bald nicht mehr alleine: Das für den Oktober erwartete Update auf Android L wird Unterstüzung für RAW-Fotos von Haus aus mitbringen.
